Truthfully, we wish we could do away with this section. But we both know that now and then, things can be confusing – and we think it helps if we try and be as clear as possible about how we do business. PrivacyWe’re really serious about this. We have a separate Privacy Policy that you can read here. Basically, we are going to do our very best to honor and protect your privacy. We promise not to sell or abuse any data we collect from you. We use a variety of services to support our business (Quickbooks Online, Highrise, and Google Analytics are a few). We believe that these vendors are as serious about privacy as we are, but we can’t be liable for the actions of these vendors. RegistrationBy registration, we mean that you have completed our online registration process and we have accepted your payment. We utilize the service of ‘authorize.net’ to handle our payment collection. Your registration is not valid until you have received a confirmation notice via email. Registrations are transferable - but you have to let us know at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled training. What if you have to cancel? We know it happens - things come up. We’re going to work with you if they do. Get in touch with us as soon as you know there is going to be an issue. We can transfer your registration to another date, to a colleague or provide you credit for a future class. Here’s the sticking point though - you must make these changes at least 72 hours in advance of the training in question, otherwise we are unable to issue credit or transfer. What if we have to cancel? This will always be a last resort for us, but we do need a minimum number of registrations for each workshop. In the unlikely event this happens, we will refund your registration fee, or provide credit for future training – your choice. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for non-refundable airfare or other prepaid travel costs. What if you no-show?It always surprises us, but it does happen. Sometimes people just don’t show up for a workshop. If you don’t show up – sorry, there are no credits, refunds or transfers. Come on, you can understand that can’t you? Check with your State.Regulations vary from state to state. It's up to you to verify with your state on the specifics of using the skills and techniques learned in these workshops. And about those things we can’t control...We just can’t be responsible for those things beyond our control, severe weather, acts of war, labor disputes and other things we may not have thought of. We also reserve the right to change, alter or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time. If you have any questions about these terms, suggestions for other conditions, or think we are way out of line – please get in touch with us. |
